{"id":577,"date":"2022-01-28T10:53:24","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T08:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geopool.dev.wikstrommedia.fi\/?post_type=job&#038;p=577"},"modified":"2025-09-11T12:07:17","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T09:07:17","slug":"expert-geoscientist","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/geopool.se\/en\/job\/expert-geoscientist\/","title":{"rendered":"Expert Geoscientist"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-wm-job-content\">\n    \n\n<div class=\"wp-block-wm-job-content-item\">\n    \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Work tasks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expanding and supporting exploration activities with respect to your field of expertise (e.g. structural geology, quaternary geology, 3D modelling, geophysics, mining operations, environment, or hydrology)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing methods and work procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning of activities, interpretation of results and reporting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentoring personnel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication with clients and contractors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing HSE and quality control procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-wm-job-content-item\">\n    \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We expect from you<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 15 years\u2019 experience in exploration and\/or mine geology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MSc or higher degree in Geosciences or in another relevant field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good written and oral proficiency in Finnish\/Swedish and English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience of a manager position or similar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>European driving licence B<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to safe and environmentally sustainable working procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-wm-job-content-item\">\n    \n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Considered an asset<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of the Mining Act and\/or associated laws<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PhD degree or Competent Person\/Qualified Person Certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capability to travel in the Nordic countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with GIS \/ 3D modelling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with databases (e.g. Access)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Would you like to expand a current or create a new division at GeoPool?
