Welcoming new expertise to GeoPool

We are happy to share that Maarit Tolppanen has joined GeoPool as a Community & Communications Specialist. In this role, she will enhance our community engagement and communications, bringing expertise that benefits both our customers and our team.

Maarit has a background in exploration and previously worked with First Quantum Minerals in Finland, where she spent the past three years as a Community Relations Officer and Field Coordinator. Alongside this, she has gained solid experience in administrative tasks, fieldwork, and project support.

Her areas of expertise include media and community communications and relations, drone imagery for worksite documentation, and exploration safety. Through working with international teams, she has developed a broad perspective on the industry.

We are delighted to welcome Maarit and look forward to continuing her career journey with us. Her non-geological expertise adds important value to our team, and we are excited about the contribution she will make as we continue to grow.
